I really enjoyed that the session started off with a powerpoint about proper posture and how it could influence overall health. The yoga was more difficult than I initially anticipated, but after ending, I felt that it was really rewarding. As usual, talking with the seventh-grade friends was both engaging and interesting, and I cannot wait to see them again next semester.

J&L designed and executed a wonderful, interactive workshop that covered some of the major interest areas found in college: theatre, math, entrepreneurship, science, and English. They did a great job at getting all of the mentors and mentees involved, and overall, the atmosphere was very stimulating and enjoyable which is perfect for a Friday afternoon after a long week of classes. Volunteering with students, especially ones as involved and intelligent as these seventh graders is always rewarding, I think, for everyone involved.

This was my second time being able to visit the Center for Human Rights, and being able to attend with the girls, some of whom had their first experience visiting, was very rewarding.
