New American Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit non-partisan organization that was founded in 2014 by the merger of two organizations, with a rich history of helping the immigrant and refugee community in Atlanta. Our organization provides refugee resettlement, youth education, employment assistance, and other services for refugees, immigrants, and asylum seekers. One of our programs is civic engagement. We educate and engage new Americans, as well as the general public, regarding their rights, upcoming elections, and voting registration. In 2018, as a part of a wider coalition of non-profits which focus on civic engagement, we helped 8,179 people register to vote! This last area is where we would greatly appreciate your help.
We noticed Agnes Scott thrives for civic engagement and social justice. Hence, we wanted to partner up with you by having a civic engagement workshop and recruiting student/faculty/staff volunteers for our Get Out the Vote efforts.
