MedShare is a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world. MedShare helps increase health system capacity and drives sustainability by providing biomedical equipment training and service to healthcare organizations and medical professionals serving populations in need. MedShare’s deliveries of vital medical supplies and equipment have decreased our nation’s carbon footprint and brought health, healing and the promise of better lives to 97 countries and countless patients.
MedShare’s operations depend on its volunteers to get life-saving supplies to people who desperately need them. Please join us in giving medical supplies a second life that saves lives. We invite groups or individuals to volunteer at the Atlanta location. Whatever your skills, we will put them to good use!
MedShare offers Medical supply and equipment sorting sessions every week. We offer 3 hour long volunteer shifts for groups and individuals Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-12pm, 1pm-4pm, and one evening sort shift on Wednesdays from 6pm-9pm. Volunteers can sign up for a shift in advance through our website at www.medshare.org/volunteer. Once you become a registered volunteer, you may sign up for any available opportunities most convenient to your schedule. If your desired shift is not available, then that shift has already been filled. However, we welcome you to join us for the next available service opportunity.
Groups may inquire to volunteer by contacting Volunteer programs Satff: Kmoran@medshare.org
We look forward to seeing you then!
